ABBA were an obscure Swedish pop band before winning the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. After that, they released hit after hit worldwide before their breakup in 1982. In Performance showcases the band performing live renditions of their hits, captured in rare archival television footage. It also includes interviews with key figures close to the band, such as Rod Leissle, the founder of Bjorn Again, John Tobler, their first press agent, and their author Karl French. Highlights include Knowing Me Knowing You, Fernando, Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight), S.O.S., Dancing Queen, and Take a Chance on Me.
